Laura’s music career spans some twenty years and includes venues throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Mexico. Including solo and collaborative performances, she continues to be a regular guest artist in the Seattle area as well. She recently returned from Mexico City where she conducted research for her debut recording, Romanza de Amor, música de piano de Manuel M. Ponce.
In 2010, her travels took her to France, where she participated in the Musique á Beaumont Summer Piano Institute for 2-pianos-4 hands.
Laura is dedicated to the repertoire of culturally diverse composers and features art music from around the world. With her keen interest and experience in composers of the western hemisphere, she regularly includes Manuel Ponce, Carlos Chávez, Stephen Foster, Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, Amy Beach, and George Gershwin, to name a few.
A combined love for music, performance and education has led her to include vibrant residencies for young audiences, offering a wide variety of music curriculum including piano classes, singing, world music, recording projects, music history and multi- media music experiences.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Montana and a Masters in music from Boston University. A dedicated student of Latin American culture, she currently studies Spanish and Mexican composers. She recently released her first solo recording featuring selected works from Mexican composer, Manuel Ponce. She regularly presents this repertoire in Mexico at Rancho la Puerta.
